I am a first-generation Australian of Welsh heritage, an interdisciplinary researcher, published author, educator, disability advocate, creative professional and organisational leader with an extensive academic and professional background spanning the sciences, humanities, law, education, health, animal welfare, environmental management and business.

My Welsh heritage is an important part of my personal identity and connection to family history, culture and storytelling. It has contributed to my interest in genealogy, historical research, cultural heritage, language and the preservation of personal and community narratives.
